The SWOX success story continues – 1 million transfers in 2017

We always have a close eye on our SSC web portal »SWANcloud. Since the beginning of 2017, “our SWANcloud customers have handled more than 1 million transfers via our SWAN-integrated SWOX OFTP2 system, successfully exchanging more than 2,600 gigabytes of data with their partners,”reports Ralf from SSC SWAN operations.

What a success story!

The SSC in-house development SWOX, commissioned in 2016, uses the Odette File Transfer Protocol version 2 (OFTP2) recommended by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VdA) for the transmission of encrypted data over encrypted connections for data exchange via the Internet or ENX.

We received the Odette organisation certificate at the beginning of the year. SWOX fully complies with the requirements of the OFTP2 specification (RFC5024) and is on the »list of products tested for OFTP2 compliance and interoperability”.
