Data protection notice
An overview of data protection
The following provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any information that can be used to personally identify you. Detailed information on data protection can be found in the privacy policy below.
Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. The operator’s contact details can be found in the website’s legal notice.
How do we collect your data?
Some data is collected when you provide it to us, for example by entering it into a contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure the website functions without errors. Other data can be used to analyze user behavior.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right, at any time and free of charge, to obtain information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request that it be corrected, blocked, or deleted. You can contact us at any time using the address given in the legal notice if you have further questions about the issue of privacy and data protection. You may also, of course, file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities.
We process the personal data that we receive from you in the context of your application or expression of interest. This includes the data you provide to us as part of your application or expression of interest, in particular by submitting your application documents and the details you provide in job interviews. In the course of the application process, we may collect further personal data from you personally or from publicly accessible sources, provided you give us your consent to do so or another legal permission to collect data exists.
Through our careers page and the “Schlüsselerlebnis” (www.schluessel-erlebnis.de) you can send us applications for open positions or speculative applications by email or by using our applicant portal. The following data or categories of data are collected and used to process your application:
- Contact details: your first name, surname, email address
- Start date: the desired start date
- Curriculum vitae: your curriculum vitae including certificates, proof of qualifications, photo etc.
- Cover letter: your motivation for the desired job, if applicable type of the desired job / field of application
- If necessary, further voluntarily given information about your person
If you use the applicant portal on our website or the “Schlüsselerlebnis” page, your entries will be processed in a cloud-based processing program of the provider Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Königsberger Straße, 4-6 32339 Espelkamp (subsequently “order processor”). Appropriate technical security measures are applied during the transmission and storage of your data, in particular state-of-the-art encryption. The order processor uses and processes the data solely on our behalf and not for its own purposes and is contractually obligated to ensure the protection of your data through technical and organizational measures.
After receipt of your application, your application data will be reviewed by our HR department and the relevant hiring managers. Within the company, only those persons who need access to your data to carry out the application process have access to it. All parties involved treat your application documents with strict confidentiality.
We process the data you send us in connection with your application to assess your suitability for the advertised position (or, if applicable, other open positions in our company) and to conduct the application process. The legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and Section 26 BDSG, according to which processing is permissible insofar as it is necessary in connection with the decision to establish an employment relationship. Should an application process lead to your employment, we will include your application documents in your personnel file for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.
Further data processing may be carried out on the basis of Article 6 GDPR, in particular to safeguard legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest may consist, for example, in the assertion of or defense against legal claims, which is why, in the event of rejection, we delete or anonymize your data as soon as a period of three months has elapsed after the application process has been completed.
If you consent to us retaining your application documents for potential future job postings/application processes, we will process your data on this basis to provide you with suitable job offers in the future. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
When visiting our website, your browsing behavior may be statistically analyzed. This is done primarily using cookies and analytics tools. The analysis of your browsing behavior is generally anonymous; we cannot identify you from this data. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information can be found in the following privacy policy. We will inform you below about how to exercise your options in this regard.
General information and mandatory information
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. When you use this website, various personal data will be collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified.
This privacy policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for, and how and for what purpose this happens. Please note that data transmitted via the internet (e.g., email communication) may be subject to security breaches. Complete protection of data from third-party access is not possible.
The party responsible for processing data on this website is:
SSC-Services GmbH
Herrenberger Str. 56
71034 Böblingen
Phone: +49.7031.49 13 – 0
E-Mail: kontakt@ssc-services.de
You can view our legal notice here. The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. A simple message to datenschutz@ssc-services.de is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
In the event of violations of data protection law, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at:
https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.
You have the right to have data that we process based on your consent or in performance of a contract delivered to yourself or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you require the direct transfer of data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content—such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection when the browser’s address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and a lock icon appears in your browser’s address bar. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
As permitted by law, you have the right to be provided at any time with information free of charge about any of your personal data that is stored as well as its origin, the recipient and the purpose for which it has been processed. You also have the right to have this data corrected, blocked or deleted. You can contact us at any time using the address given in our legal notice if you have further questions on the topic of personal data.
You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data by us where such processing is based on the legal ground of “legitimate interests.” If you exercise your right to object, we will cease processing your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms.
We hereby expressly prohibit the use of the contact data published in the context of legal notice requirements for sending advertising and information materials not expressly requested. The website operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.
Please refer to the respective description of the relevant offering or service for the storage period of personal data. In addition, and unless otherwise specified in the description of the offering or service, the following generally applies: We store your personal data only as long as this is necessary to fulfill the processing purposes or—in the case of consent—until you revoke your consent. In the event of an objection, we delete your personal data unless further processing is permitted under the applicable statutory provisions. We also delete your personal data when we are legally obliged to do so. Where statutory retention obligations exist, we delete the data only after the relevant periods have expired.
If data is processed by entities whose registered office or place of data processing is not located in a member state of the European Union or in another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, we ensure—prior to any transfer and except in legally permitted exceptional cases—that either an adequate level of data protection exists at the recipient (e.g., by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) or that your consent to processing outside the EU/EEA has been obtained.
Data protection officer
We have appointed a data protection officer for our company.
You are welcome to contact them at om@v-formation.gmbh.
Data collection on our website
Some of our web pages use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are deleted automatically after your visit. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, to accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude them, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Cookies necessary for carrying out the electronic communication process or for providing certain functions you wish to use (e.g., shopping cart functionality) (technically necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to ensure the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g., cookies to analyze your browsing behavior) are also stored, they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.
The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data will not be merged with data from other sources. The basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, which permits processing based on our legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests lie in providing and displaying the website, ensuring and maintaining technical operations, detecting and eliminating faults, and ensuring the security of the website (e.g., clarifying cases of misuse or fraud).
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you enter in the form, including the contact details you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your consent. The processing of data entered into the contact form is carried out solely for the purpose of handling your request pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and—if you have given us your consent—on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you revoke your consent to storage or—if you do not provide consent—until your request has been fully processed. This does not affect data for which statutory or otherwise prescribed retention obligations exist (e.g., where further processing is or becomes necessary to fulfill a concluded contract). Where statutory retention obligations exist, we delete the data only after the relevant periods have expired.
You can register on our website in order to use additional functions offered here. The data entered will be used solely for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full; otherwise, we will reject the registration.
To inform you about important changes such as those within the scope of our offer or technically necessary changes, we will use the email address specified during registration.
Data entered during registration is processed for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you remain registered on our website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
You may sign up for our newsletter, for example when contacting us, including via the contact form on the website.
We send newsletters only after the corresponding sign-up, i.e., with your consent based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent to receive our newsletter at any time, e.g., by unsubscribing via the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter or by sending an email to newsletter@ssc-services.de. Logging of the sign-up process is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, as we are legally obliged to document sign-ups.
We store your data as long as we need it for the respective purpose or until you object to storage or withdraw your consent. If you have signed up only for our newsletter, your personal data—unless another legal basis applies—will be deleted when you unsubscribe.
Analytics and advertising
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”), which enables analysis of your use of our website.
By default, cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 when you visit the website. These small text files are stored on your device and collect certain information. This includes your IP address, which, however, is truncated by Google by the last digits to exclude direct personal reference.
Google uses the information collected on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics 4 and truncated by Google is not merged with other Google data.
We use Google Ads to draw attention to our offers by means of advertisements. If you reach our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie is stored on your device by Google Ads. The Google Ads cookies stored on our website allow us to obtain information about the success of our advertising campaigns. These cookies are not intended to personally identify you. Typically, the following analytics values are stored with this cookie: unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement, last impression, and opt-out information.
The cookies set by Google enable Google to recognize your internet browser. Each Ads customer is assigned a different cookie, so cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of other Ads customers. Through the integration of Google Ads, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our online presence or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that the provider may learn and store your IP address.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google’s server. We do not collect personal data ourselves through the advertising measures mentioned; rather, we merely enable Google to collect the data. We receive only statistical evaluations from Google that inform us which ads were clicked how often and at what prices. We do not receive further data from the use of these advertising tools, and in particular we cannot identify users based on this information.
Data processing associated with Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads takes place on the basis of your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. If you do not want cookies from Google Analytics 4 or Google Ads to be stored on your device, you can refuse or withdraw your consent accordingly in our cookie banner. You can also disable the corresponding option in your browser’s system settings. You can delete stored cookies at any time in your browser’s system settings.
Data collected via Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted. With regard to Google Ads, we store your data as long as we need it for the respective purpose or until you have objected to storage or withdrawn your consent.
Recipients of the data and further information: The information is transferred to Google’s servers and further processed there. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google that ensures the protection of our site visitors’ data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
Transfers to Google LLC based in the USA are possible. For this purpose, the provider has joined the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission. We have also agreed on the so-called Standard Contractual Clauses with Google to ensure an adequate level of data protection in the third country.
Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Plugins and Tools
Videos embedded from YouTube on our website are generally self-hosted by us; no data is transferred to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”) for that purpose.
However, our website occasionally uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you visited. To increase the protection of your data when visiting our website, such plugin-based videos are initially deactivated and integrated using a so-called “2-click” solution. This integration ensures that when a page of our website containing such videos is accessed, no connection to Google’s servers is established yet. Only when you activate the videos does your browser establish a direct connection to Google’s servers.
If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used to help make our online offerings appealing. This constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Further information about handling user data can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
This site allows the use of the Google Maps mapping service. The provider of Google Maps is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Maps is not embedded directly on this website; instead, you have the option to access Google Maps via a link embedded on the website. If you make use of this option, your data will be processed by Google; we have no influence over this data processing.
More information on handling user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Social media presences
Our website includes links to our accounts on social networks such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Xing. After clicking the embedded graphic, you will be redirected to the respective provider’s site; only then will user information be transmitted to the respective provider. If you are logged into the respective social network with your user profile, your visit to our website may be associated with your profile after activating the button. If you do not want social networks to collect data via our website, you should log out of the respective networks before visiting our website.
We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks and process data of users in this context to communicate with active users there or to provide information about us, currently on:

With our various social media channels, we aim to offer you a broad range of multimedia services, present our products comprehensively, and exchange ideas and inquiries with you on topics that matter to you. Data processing serves, in particular, the following purposes:
- Presentation of our company and corporate culture, including current career and training opportunities
- Communication with and information for visitors to our social media channels; presentation of our products, current events, and webinars
- Collection of statistical information about the reach of our social media channels
- Resolution of disputes and legal matters; establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims; enforcement of existing contracts
We point out that user data may be processed outside the European Union. This may pose risks for users, for example because it could make it more difficult to enforce users’ rights.
Through our social media presences, we process in particular the following personal data:
- Your username on the social network as well as comments published on our profiles and messages you send via our social networks
- Your activity on our social networks via the respective providers’ services, e.g., visits to our profiles, scope of interactions, visits and average duration of video views, information about the countries and cities our visitors come from, and statistics about the overall relationships of our visitors. We only receive aggregated statistics about all visitors; no assignment to individual persons takes place.
- Other information necessary to respond to visitors’ inquiries
We process your data on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless expressly stated otherwise, in order to present our company and the offerings you desire on your preferred channels and to respond to your messages and inquiries promptly. Our legitimate interest also includes analyzing the reach and use of our social media pages to achieve appropriate design and continuous improvement. If your inquiry is aimed at entering into a contractual relationship with us, the legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
When you visit one of our social media pages, the respective platform providers may also process further data about you and create user profiles to display interest-based advertising.
You can generally assert your data subject rights both against us and against the operator of the respective social media platform. However, we would like to point out that these rights can be exercised most effectively with the respective provider, as only the provider has access to the users’ data and can take direct measures and provide information.
The data collected directly by us via the social media page will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for its storage no longer applies, you legitimately request deletion, or you withdraw your consent to storage. Mandatory statutory provisions—especially retention periods—remain unaffected. We have no influence over the storage periods of your data that is stored by the operators of the social media platforms for their own purposes.
