SSC is a member of the newly founded association Catena-X Automotive Network e.V. The Europe-wide network develops visionary ideas for a future cross-company data exchange along the entire automotive value chain.
Catena-X Automotive Network e.V. provides the network and the technology to jointly address the key challenges of the automotive industry. The goal is to link providers and users and to ensure the economic viability of all network partners. Catena-X sees itself as a rapidly scalable, expandable ecosystem in which all participants in the automotive value chain can equally contribute. In addition to well-known members such as Mercedes-Benz AG, BASF SE or the BMW Group, SMEs in particular are to actively participate in the data exchange network.
“For us as a medium-sized company and developer of the data exchange platform SWAN, the Catena-X network is particularly exciting. Our roots are in the world of data exchange, and we have many years of experience in the field of supplier connectivity. We know both the perspective of the large OEMs and the problems of the suppliers. From this interface function, we would like to contribute our expertise to the data exchange network“, says Matthias Stroezel.
