<\/p>\nWithin the framework of the Daimler EDM CAE Forum 2017, SSC, together with the CVD-datahouse of Daimler AG, organized a new edition of the eSmaC user meeting. The entire afternoon of the first forum day was dominated by the external Smaragd Client (eSmaC) and the presentation of the latest development – the eSmaC Next Generation.<\/p>\n
We are very pleased that the lectures and the discussions with the speakers and our experts were very interesting.<\/p>\n
The lectures on the eSmaC theme:<\/p>\n
As a product sponsor, Karl-Heinz Kugler (Daimler AG, MBTruck) presented the eSmaC’s development, from its origins to today, in his lecture

\ntogether with Jochen Heinkel (Daimler AG, IT Security) .<\/p>\n
Ralf Luithardt (SSC) reported on a brand new project – the eSmaC Next Generation. His lecture >>eSmaC NG – the consistent further development of a well proven solution highlighted the latest advances in further development, challenges and opportunities.<\/p>\n
Many visitors did not only have the opportunity to exchange their ideas in the hall after the presentations, but also at the SSC booth, where we presented agile methods in a further topic: DevOps – a sensible cultural change.<\/p>\n
The SSC colleagues were available for questions on both days of the forum and were able to show the potentials of the eSmaC NG to all interested parties as part of a live demo.<\/p>\n
