As an IT enabler, we develop customised concepts for successful collaboration within and between companies. In addition to our core business, it is important to us to broaden our own horizons and enter into partnerships with players from other areas of society, such as science and art. Similar to Moss<\/a>, such network-like connections across different systems enrich us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our innovation projects are presented below. The focus is on projects from research, development and art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catena-X<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SSC has been a member of the Catena-X Automotive Network e.V. association since 2021. In the Europe-wide partner network, well-known DAX companies and SMEs are jointly setting the framework for a new data ecosystem in the automotive industry. The aim is to enable secure, cross-company data exchange between all participants in the automotive value chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to our active association work and helping to shape the future of the automotive industry, we at Catena-X offer qualified consulting services for the entire onboarding process. SMEs in particular receive comprehensive support for their Catena-X onboarding journey and a smooth connection to the ecosystem. Our consulting services are listed on the service marketplace of Cofinity-X, the operating company of Catena-X.

Smart Data Solution Center <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SSC is a founding member of the association Smart Data Solution Center (SDSC)<\/a>.
The SDSC’s mission is to promote science and research in artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics. Its aim is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge between research and business practice in order to develop innovative solutions to tomorrow’s challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXCELLERAT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The European Centre of Excellence for Engineering Applications (EXCELLERAT for short) is a European conglomerate of business partners and high-performance computing centres with the aim of increasing Europe’s competitiveness in the high-performance computing (HPC) environment. SSC represents the role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs for short) and is committed to building bridges between high-performance computing centres and interested SMEs in order to simplify the use of HPC for industry.

As one of the 15 European partners, we manage and advise on the topic of “Data Management” in the conglomerate.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n

The use of HPC makes it possible to carry out highly complex simulations and calculations. These form the basis for the development of products and solutions and are essential for the innovation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the EU project, SSC is developing a secure data exchange platform to facilitate the utilisation of high-performance computing (HPC) resources and make data transfer more efficient. The so-called Data Exchange & Workflow Portal ensures secure, fast and traceable online data transfer between data producers (SMEs) and HPC centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
